Round Pen Winner

Congratulations to Chad Detrick of Yukon as his name was pulled out of the more than 1,000 entries we had for the Priefert Round Pen give away a the 2009 Southern Plains Farm Show. Our picture here is of Ron Hays of the Radio Oklahoma Network, Horse Trainer Scott Daily and Chad Detrick after his name was selected. The Round Pen was given away by the Radio Oklahoma Network, the sponsor of the Horse Training Sessions. It was pretty windy out on the fairgrounds on Saturday afternoon as we selected the winner- we do have a short interview that we conducted with Chad after he won this fabulous Round Pen- perfect for handling horses or cattle. Chad and his family live on an acreage north of Yukon- and have horses, show animals and kids involved in the Yukon 4-H and FFA.
